---I have had 2 compact camera's and boy have they been horrible. This camera was more than I wanted to spend but it was worth it! It is not going to be one of those camera's that take great pictures in fast motion, but it does take pictures when someone is moving which is more than I can say for other small cameras. The other feature that I really liked was it did not take FOREVER to take a picure in the dark and for me to view it. If you want an awesome camera, well you will have to buy the larger more expenive ones, but for an easy to carry and understand, good camera, this one I liked.
---I've had a Canon Powershot for years, but it was recently stolen so I decided to try the Nikon Coolpix. I actually bought one of the more expensive ones thinking it would be one of the best...boy was I wrong. This camera is awful. Most of our pictures are blown out from poor exposure or blurry because the flash doesn't activate when it should. When it does manage to have decent exposure, the pictures don't even look that good. The large touch screen is the best feature, however, it's a little slow and sometimes I would accidently touch the screen while I was taking a pic and change the settings. Luckily I bought this camera from Costco so we can return it. I'm switching back to a Canon.
