This camera sure gets mixed reviews.
The Nikon COOLPIX S9100 seems to be a camera people either love or hate. Although Nikon is certianly a reputable manufacturer, this camera only averages 3 out of 5 stars on places like Amazon.

It has a 12.1-megapixel CMOS sensor to help with image quality in low-light conditions. The camera includes Nikon's exclusive EXPEED C2 processing engine.
The LCS screen is a nice size, making composing images on the large three-inch Clear Color Display a pleasure. It has a 921000-dot, ultra-high resolution display to make it easier to view photos and HD movies.
However, for all the nice features about this camera it really doesn't seem to stand out as one of the best out there. With so many other models available today, it doesn't make since to go with one that doesn't have across the board good reviews.
